Rod Paterson is a distinguished Scottish folk singer with many strings to his bow - if that is not already mixing too many metaphors! Renowned for his interpretation of Robert Burns particularly, he also plays in many Scottish bands - the recently reformed Jock Tamson's Bairns, Ceolbeg, Chorda and The Easy Club .... with all that talent he is, inevitably, no mean songwriter too!

Scroll through the internet and accolades are not hard to find. Of Rod Paterson particularly:-

"An outstanding singer by any standards. His voice combines strength, purity, clarity and a warmth of tone that makes it unmistakeable"
Vic Smith

And of Jock Tamson's Bairn's generally:-

"Jock Tamson's Bairns are Rare and Rare is the new Cool ........"
Michael Marra

His integral role in the nation's music history is perhaps underscored by his participation in Phil Cunningham's television series, "Scotland's Music". Need we say more!
